Nothing is more exhilarating than the wind in your hair as you tour Lake Havasu in the warm sun. If you enjoy boating, there's no reason not to take your best friend with you.

Nothing beats a day out on a boat with the companionship of your dog. Dogs are an important part of most families and a holiday just isn't a holiday if you leave your first mate at home. Safety is important on a boat and it is especially important if you take your dog along with you. Along with a dog collar, ID tags and leashes, here are a few simple things you can do to make sure your day out on the lake is relaxing; Havasu SunSeekers will help to make it perfect!!

The first thing you should do before boating with your dog is to get him a canine LIFE JACKET. Even though most dogs can swim, don't risk it, get your dog a life jacket. Havasu SunSeekers offers a few sizes of life jackets for your furry baby if you don't have one.

The second thing you should do is not to encourage your dog to DRINK WATER from the lake. Lake water often contains harmful organisms, so never allow your dog to drink the water.  Even if it's not 100 degrees, your dog is at risk of getting dehydrated so make sure there is ample drinking water available.  Havasu SunSeekers offers a clean water bowl and fresh drinking water.

The third thing you should do that doesn't readily come to mind when you're thinking about dogs is SUNSCREEN. Just as we need sunscreen to protect ourselves from harmful rays, so do some dogs. It is recommended that you should use a light SPF sunscreen such as SPF-15.  Because Havasu SunSeekers does not know what your baby might be allergic to, we suggest you bring sunscreen.

The fourth and final thing you should put into consideration is that your dog will need to relieve himself somewhere. Havasu SunSeekers will supply plenty of doggie WASTE BAGS.
